With tax day approaching, wallethub.com/edu/state-taxpayer-roi-report/3283/">a new study says Utah ranks No. 6 nationally for "taxpayer return on investment."

The financial website WalletHub used 20 different measures to make that ranking across five large categories: economy, education, health, safety and infrastructure/pollution.

It ranked Utah's economy as No.1. The state ranked No. 19 for total taxes per capita.

It also ranked Utah as No. 14 for education, No. 11 for health, 13th for safety and 20th for infrastructure/pollution.

Its top ratings went to New Hampshire, South Dakota, Colorado, Virginia and Florida, in that order.

Its lowest rankings were given to North Dakota, Alaska, Hawaii, New York and Delaware.
